With so many originals to feature, Volbeat's setlist won't include its “Don’t Tread On Me” cover from "The Metallica Blacklist" charity album. Spoiler alert: A sax player and pianist likely will be on stage in Pittsburgh for "Wait a Minute My Girl," the relatively poppy 2021 single that became Volbeat's ninth chart-topper on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Pittsburgh fans will look forward to favorite songs like 2011's boxing-themed "A Warrior's Call," which earned gold sales status in the U.S. Interviewed by, Poulsen outlined the influences behind other new songs, like "Lasse's Birgita" about the first witch burnings in Sweden in the 15th century, and "The Devil Rages On" exploring the idea of the devil taking human form. Shotgun Blues (feat."Shotgun Blues" was inspired by a ghostly presence Poulsen felt moving into a new house.
